OneMerge Training – How to utilise the Potential Duplicate Feature

The purpose of this article is to provide step-by-step instructions on how to use the Potential Duplicate Feature displayed in Record Page Layouts in OneMerge.

To use Potential Duplicates, follow these steps (example):

  1. Create a new Account, entering the Name, Phone Number, Email and Address.
  2. Create a Second Account with the same credentials as Step 1. A message will be displayed in the Page as shown below.
  3. Click on the View Duplicates button.
  4. On the next screen the Potential Duplicate is displayed. If there is more than one, select which ones to Match and Merge, click the Next button
  5. On the next screen select how the Master Record is created (as shown below), click the Merge Now button.
  6. A success message is displayed (as shown below).
  7. On the next screen, select Save and click the Next button.
