This article provides guidance for the OneMerge Status page, in particular the Merge Rules panel. The purpose of this panel is to display the current status of Merge Rulesets and Merge Rules. The panel is displayed based upon the Salesforce Object that is selected from the dropdown.
As stated, Merge Rulesets group the Merge Rules for a Salesforce Object and define the logic employed to select the surviving record (Master Record) within a group of identified duplicates. Please note, we recommend that the default Merge Rulesets (installed by OneMerge) are cloned (via the Merge Rule Setup tab) and then adjusted or extended to meet your merge requirements. The defaults can’t be deployed between Salesforce orgs.
The Active and inactive Merge Rulesets and Merge Rules are displayed. A green tick icon indicates they valid and active, a grey tick icon indicates they ae valid but inactive. An amber icon indicates there is an issue that needs resolving. The Merge Rule will display a grey icon that is invalid.
Clicking the link for the Merge Ruleset will take you to the Merge Rule Setup tab.
There is also a summary of when the Last Merge Rulesets and Last Merge Rules changed. You can refresh the information in this panel by selecting the settings icon top right.
