This article provides guidance for the OneMerge Status page, in particular the Merge Jobs panel. The purpose of this panel is to display whether Merge or Matching Jobs have been scheduled and also whether Data Stewardship is active. The panel is displayed based upon the Salesforce Object that is selected from the dropdown.
As stated, Merge Jobs are scheduled to merge Duplicate Record Sets reported by Salesforce Duplicate Management using the logic defined by the active Merge Ruleset for the Salesforce Object.
There are three links within the panel:
- Scheduled Merge Job – This link will take you to Guided Setup where you can schedule a Merge Job. There are also a list of the last 5 Merge Jobs that have run and links to view the results.
- Scheduled Matching Job – This link will take you to the Guided Setup where you can schedule a Matching Job. There are also a list of the last 5 Matching Jobs that have run and links to view the results.
- Data Stewardship – This link will take you to the Guided Setup, where, within Application Settings, you can activate data Stewardship. If Data Stewardship is active then Duplicate Record Sets require the Merge Decision field to be set to Accepted before merge.
There is also a summary of when Merge and Matching Jobs were scheduled. You can refresh the information in this panel by selecting the settings icon top right. A green tick icon indicates you have upcoming Jobs scheduled , an amber icon indicates one need to be scheduled. The Matching Job will not display an amber icon as it is not always needed.
