OneMerge Find Duplicates Merge UI
This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to use the Find Duplicates Merge User Interface feature within OneMerge. Find Duplicates provides the ability to be able to search for Duplicate records within Objects by applying filters. Once duplicates have been found, you then have the option to view the results through the Merge UI. This allows for a manual intervention for creating Master Records, and can be particularly useful when first validating Merge Rules.
The following steps describe to use the Merge UI, via Find Duplicates:
- Navigate to the Find Duplicates tab.
- Select the Object to search.
- Add the filter criteria and select the Find button.
- Within the results panel, if a Duplicate Record Set is not already displayed, select the group and Save Duplicate Record Sets (drop down option).
- Once the Duplicate Record Set has been created, you can now select to view the Merge UI (drop down option).

Within the Merge UI, you can select which record within the group should be the Master Record. The default will be as per the Merge Ruleset Settings. You can also expand the fields, which will show the values within each record within the group. The default values will be as per the Merge Rules. You can select other values to save to the Master Record when it is created, or you can edit values.
Clicking on the Merge Now button will Merge the Records within the group and display the Master Record.
