Additional Information.
OneMerge Winter ’25 release (standard and Enterprise Editions) now supports scheduled jobs for Custom Objects via Guided Setup.
Previously, additional configuration steps such as the creation of an Apex Class were necessary to extend the scheduled job processing model to Custom Objects created within the Salesforce org. Now, subject to the requirements below, the OneMerge jobs can be directly scheduled via Guided Setup to implement one-time or recurring bulk record matching and merge automations for Custom Objects and also additional Standard Salesforce Objects previously not supported.
Requirements:
- Matching Job – Any Salesforce Object (Custom or Standard) with active Salesforce Duplicate Rules (one or more).
- Merge Job – Any Salesforce Object supported by Salesforce Duplicate Management with active Merge Rulesets (one or more).
- Reparenting Job – (as Merge Job) plus Custom Merge and active Custom Reparenting Rules.
The following demo shows how to Schedule Merge and Matching Jobs.
