  • Added

    Combine Multi-Select Picklist Values

The new [Is Multi-Select Picklist All Values?] Merge Rule flag indicates that Multi-Select picklist fields (within the rule) on the Master Record will be populated with the combination of values found on all duplicates.

For example, the Contact Preferences field on the Master Record could show the combined set of preference types recorded across the merged duplicates.

  • Added

    Total Numeric Values

The new [Is Sum Numeric Values?] Merge Rule flag indicates that numeric type fields (within the rule) on the Master Record will be populated with the sum of values found on all duplicates.

For example, the Customer Spend field could be totalled to ensure that the Master record holds the aggregate of the spend values across the merged duplicates.

  • Added

    Reparenting Rollback

The Merge Result Rollback Action now supports reparenting of child records back to the original parent record. Please note, this feature is limited to Custom Reparenting Rules where the [Is Immediate?] flag is set to true, meaning reparenting take place within the merge operation.

    For example,

Account A and B merge and both A and B have 2 tasks and 2 contacts.

Post-merge the winner, say Account A, now has 4 tasks and 4 contacts.

Post-rollback, the 2 tasks and 2 contacts are moved back to Account B.
