Automated Merge for Salesforce

OneMerge extends the standard out-of-the box Salesforce features for duplicate record identification with automated, intelligent merge rules and data stewarding conditions.

Salesforce Duplicate Management features provide flexible, robust capabilities for record matching but leave the merging of duplicates as a manual task. This approach to record merge is time consuming, it doesn’t scale well or deliver standardised, quality outcomes. OneMerge solves these problems through flexible automated merge rules which blend with the standard features to enable an end-to-end record match-and-merge solution which delivers efficient Single Customer View automation.

Merge automation can be real-time, scheduled job, platform action or by API. OneMerge supports Standard Objects (Account, Contact, Lead and Individual) plus Custom Objects and Cross-Object merge (for example, Leads to Accounts).

FAQs

What does OneMerge do?

Clean, accurate data is fundamental to the efficient use of Salesforce and compliance with the various data protection and privacy regulations prevalent today.

Salesforce provides Duplicate Management tools (out-of-the-box) for detecting duplicate records either one-at-a-time or across all records. Salesforce manages duplicates using a combination of Matching Rules (fuzzy logic etc.) which define how duplicates are identified and Duplicate Rules which specify the action to take (alert, report, block etc.). Salesforce provides a manual merge process for detected duplicates.

OneMerge provides automated merge for duplicate records identified by Salesforce.

What are the key benefits?

The manual merge of detected duplicates takes time and is not scalable; the results are also unpredictable and may be problematic in compliance terms.

OneMerge reduces the manual effort required for duplicate management through automation of the merge of detected duplicates.

OneMerge ensures that the detected duplicates are merged at the appropriate time (in real-time, or scheduled) using merge rules (or survivorship rules) which deliver standarised and compliant results.

OneMerge supports point-in-time rollback and data lineage features which provide control and transparency.

OneMerge supports a data stewarding lifecycle where detected duplicates either require review prior to merge or merge seamlessly.

Is OneMerge secure?

OneMerge is a native Salesforce platform application which processes data exclusively within the customer’s Salesforce instance.

OneMerge is a certified application for the Salesforce AppExchange which has passed the stringent security review conducted by Salesforce for all listed platform applications.

How much does OneMerge cost?

Pricing information can be found here.

Is there a Free version available? If so, what are the key differences?

Yes, One Merge Free Edition is available on the AppExchange via a separate listing.

Free Edition (FE) differences:

  • Scheduled merge only (not real-time).
  • No Data Stewardship controls.
  • Platform merge only (the OneMerge Custom Merge Engine is not included).
  • No Cross Object merge, so use-cases such as Lead merge to Account (or Contact) and data models utilising staging (custom) objects are not supported.
  • 500,000 total records limit (in any merged object).

Automated Merge Rules, Point-in-time Restore and Rollback features are all supported.
